Foton Jidian Intelligent-Driving EV Light Truck Launched in Kunming; Dozens of Units Contracted at Signing Ceremony

On August 24, 2026, the launch of the Foton Ollin Jidian all-electric light truck—and the debut of its ADAS-equipped Intelligent Driving Edition—was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, alongside a regional order-signing ceremony. The event was organized by BaJoo, an authorized Foton first-tier distributor and one of Foton’s ten National Core Distributors, under the theme “Chuancheng Yuesheng, Jidian Changxing” (“Through the City, Across the Province—Power Your Run”).

Market context: southwest China accelerates the shift to zero-emission logistics

Yunnan is a strategic gateway to the Lancang-Mekong region and a fast-growing market for fresh-produce, flower, cross-border and last-mile logistics. With the regional rollout of new-energy commercial-vehicle incentives, toll and access-priority policies, and a dense network of highland routes, demand for pure-electric light trucks that combine long range, fast charging and high payload is rising sharply. Order signing: dozens of units contracted on-site

During the ceremony, signed sales contracts for over 100 units of the Foton ollin Jidian with regional logistics, cold-chain, fresh-agricultural-products and cross-border transport operators. Buyers cited the vehicle’s long range, 2C ultra-fast charging and full-vehicle warranty support as decisive factors. Deliveries are scheduled to begin within 2 weeks, with the first batch entering service on the Kunming–Dali, Kunming–Yuxi and China–Myanmar / China–Laos corridor routes.
