Foton has set two new export milestones in Thailand for new energy commercial vehicles.
Two major orders were secured in 2024, including 200 units of battery‑swap heavy‑duty trucks for large enterprise customers and 258 units of pure‑electric mini trucks for government clients. All 258 electric mini trucks have finished production for shipment.
Since 2019, Foton has built local joint venture and sales service networks across Thailand. A complete local solution covering charging infrastructure, spare parts and after‑sales support is provided for fleet and government buyers.
Foton launched 5 models of right‑hand‑drive electric commercial vehicles as early as 2021. With localized research and development, Foton new‑energy trucks deliver stable performance and lower full‑life‑cycle operating costs for Southeast Asian markets.
